Description
Echinacea, also known as purple coneflower, contains an impressive variety of active compounds, such as caffeic acid, alkamides, phenolic acids, rosmarinic acid and polyacetylenes.
We suggest that Echinacea is used when required to tackle an infection and not as a regular supplement.
For our herbal flavourings we use the traditional method of steeping the organic herbal plant material in organic alcohol and water for a duration of time so that the therapeutic properties slowly diffuse from the plant into the flavouring.
