Epigenetics Digestive Enzymes Capsules

Epigenetics Digestive Enzymes capsules are a combination of enzymes to breakdown macromolecules from the diet into their smaller building blocks so that they can be absorbed by the intestines and utilised in the body to provide nutrition, build and repair

 Contains BetaineHCL and Pepsin

  Pepsin is produced by the stomach cells called “chief cells” in its inactive form pepsinogen.  Pepsinogen is then activated by HCL into its active form pepsin.  Pepsin breaks down the protein in the food into smaller particles such as peptides and amino acids

HCL is produced by the cells in the stomach called parietal cells.  It functions to denature ingested proteins, destroy any bacteria or virus left in the food,  activate pepsinogen into pepsin and to ionise minerals for absorption

Contains a broad spectrum of digestive enzymes

The body requires many different digestive enzymes.  They are found in the saliva secreted by the salivary glands, in the stomach secreted by cells lining the stomach, in the pancreatic juice secreted by pancreatic exocrine glands and in the intestinal secretions of the gastrointestinal tract

Contains Amylase

Amylase splits carbohydrates such as starch and sugars into simple sugars such as glucose

Contains Lipase

Lipase splits fats into 3 fatty acids and a glycerol molecule

Contains Lactase

Lactase digests the disaccharide lactose, milk sugar, breaking this down into one molecule of glucose and one molecule of galactose, which goes on to make cartilage

Contains Protease enzymes

Proteases split proteins (polypeptides) into smaller peptides and amino acids
